How the Business Plan Financial Projection Calculator Works

With ₹10,000 starting revenue, 5% monthly revenue growth, ₹7,000 starting expenses and 2% monthly expense growth over 12 months, the final-month figures use compound growth.

Projected Revenue = Starting Revenue × (1 + Revenue Growth)^(Months − 1)
Projected Expenses = Starting Expenses × (1 + Expense Growth)^(Months − 1)
Operating Profit = Projected Revenue − Projected Expenses

This calculator is a planning tool. Actual business results can differ because of changing prices, volumes, timing, taxes, financing, one-time costs and other operating factors.
