Calculation Results

Estimated Customer Lifetime Value₹600.00
Gross Profit / Period₹60.00
Churn Rate10.00%
About this calculation CLV models vary widely; this calculator uses a simplified retention-based planning formula and should not be treated as a precise forecast.

How the Customer Lifetime Value Calculator Works

This simple CLV model estimates the present-period gross profit from a customer and divides it by the periodic churn rate.

CLV = (Average Revenue per Period × Gross Margin) ÷ Churn Rate
Churn Rate = 100% − Retention Rate

With ₹100 revenue per period, 60% gross margin and 90% retention, the estimated CLV is ₹600.

This is a planning estimate based on the figures entered. Actual business results can vary with pricing, timing, customer behavior, costs and other operating conditions.

How to use this calculator

What to enter

Enter or select the following as requested: Currency — Display Only; Average Revenue per Customer per Period (); Gross Margin (%); Retention Rate per Period (%). Follow the units, valid ranges, examples, and options displayed beside each field.

What the result means

The business result is derived from the financial, staffing, sales, customer, or project assumptions entered. Check the period used, which costs and revenues are included, and whether one-time items, taxes, churn, or uncertainty are represented.

When to use it
