Break-Even Revenue
₹2,00,000
Revenue at the break-even point.

Note: Break-even analysis is an estimate based on the numbers you enter. It assumes a constant selling price and variable cost per unit.
Formula: Break-Even Units = Fixed Costs ÷ (Selling Price per Unit − Variable Cost per Unit)

How the Break-Even Calculator Works

The break-even point is where your total revenue equals your total costs, meaning there is no profit or loss.

The calculator subtracts variable cost per unit from selling price per unit to find contribution per unit. Fixed costs are then divided by that contribution to calculate the break-even number of units.

How to use this calculator

What to enter

Enter or select the following as requested: Currency Display only; Fixed Costs; Variable Cost per Unit; Selling Price per Unit. Follow the units, valid ranges, examples, and options displayed beside each field.

What the result means

The break-even output estimates the sales revenue or sales quantity at which the costs represented by the inputs are covered, with no profit or loss at that point. Check whether the output is money or units and whether fixed and variable costs use the same period.

When to use it

Use this to estimate a cost-coverage target under the assumptions entered. It is a scenario calculation, not a demand or revenue forecast.
