How this calculator works

The calculator uses the compound-interest formula: A = P × (1 + r/n)nt, where P is the deposit, r is the annual interest rate, n is the number of compounding periods per year and t is the tenure in years.

Interest earned is calculated as the maturity value minus the original deposit. The selected currency changes the display only; the calculation itself does not perform currency conversion.

How to use this calculator

What to enter

Enter or select the following as requested: Currency Display only; Deposit Amount; Annual Interest Rate; Tenure; Compounding Frequency. Follow the units, valid ranges, examples, and options displayed beside each field.

What the result means

The financial result is a projection based on the contribution or principal, rate of return or interest, fees, tax assumptions, and time period entered. Check compounding frequency, deposit timing, inflation treatment, and whether the rate is nominal or real; actual returns and tax treatment can differ.

When to use it

Use this to compare savings, investment, deposit, or personal-finance scenarios. Treat the result as an estimate rather than a guaranteed return, and verify current product terms, fees, and local tax rules before making a financial decision.
