What the result means
The network result is calculated from addressing, packet, throughput, latency, power, or capacity parameters entered. Check the network protocol, subnet mask/prefix, MTU, link rate, and whether the estimate includes headers, retransmissions, interference, and other real-world overhead.
When to use it
Use this to plan or troubleshoot network addressing, performance, and capacity. Validate configuration changes in the target environment and follow your organization’s network and security policies.
